Tap away the unwanted pounds.
How?
Next time you are feeling upset, stop yourself in your tracks before reaching for that ice cream and start tapping.
Once you clear out the negative emotion, you most likely wont want the binge anymore.
Setup Phrase:
"Even though I am upset right now, I deeply and completely accept myself."
"Even though I am really really upset right now, I deeply and completely accept and forgive myself."
Then while tapping on each of the points say:
"I am upset"
"I am feeling really upset"
Get specific if you can: " John made me so upset."
"Why did he do that?"
"I want to cry."
Stop after two rounds and take a deep breath.
Are you still upset? If yes, tap again.
After your intensity level comes down to about a 1 or 2, see if you still want the ice cream.
IF yes, start tapping on the craving.
You may also want to work with atrained practitioner who is skilled at getting to the root of the emotion.
